The event takes place at Aske Hall, Richmond, North Yorkshire, on private estate grounds. The race offers trail options of different lengths on pasture fields, farm tracks and through woodland. The estate includes parkland, a walled garden, terraced garden and a lake.

Both the 5 km and 10 km courses use a single loop layout.

Course and facilities

Trail shoes are recommended; the course is described as fairly flat by the organiser but may be muddy and uneven in places. The route will be marked with orange barrier tape, pin flags and coloured arrow signs. Critical turns and road crossings will be manned by marshals. There will be one water station on the 10 km course and water available for 5 km runners at the finish. Toilets are available at Race HQ. Parking is provided by the stable block with additional parking in a field on the estate. Registration takes place close to the stables and parking.

Entry and rules

Age limits: 16+ for the 10 km and 13+ for the 5 km. Entry is limited to 200 runners. Prices listed by the organiser are: 5 km race £17 affiliated / £19 unaffiliated; 10 km race £22 affiliated / £24 unaffiliated. Poles are banned. There is no mandatory kit requirement.
