Ultra Tour Yorkshire Dales 50k (UTYD)

The event on 17 October 2026 starts and finishes in Grassington, at the Devonshire Institute, Grassington, BD23 5AA. The route is 50k with total ascent of 1260 m. The course passes Malham Tarn, Buckden Pike and sections of the Dales Way, and finishes along the Dales Way back to Grassington. The race is self-navigated with no way markers and few marshals; participants may use route choice between checkpoints within the event rules. A GPX file is provided. The event was previously known as The Yorkshire Trod.

Entries open 13 October 2025 and close 2 October 2026. Minimum age is 20. Entry fees listed are UKA member £60.00 and non member £62.00. Included for entrants are a route GPX, live tracking and timing, aid stations with hot and cold food and drinks, a finisher meal and an UTYD gift. The event is organised by Due North Events.

Ultra Tour Yorkshire Dales 25k (UTYD)

The 25k is a fixed route that is not way marked and must be followed using the provided GPX file. The event is open to runners and walkers and is self-navigated.
