Jedburgh Three Peaks ultra & relay

The Jedburgh Three Peaks event offers an ultramarathon and a separate relay race that both start and finish in Jedburgh, TD8 6JQ. The ultramarathon is the thirteenth running and covers 38 miles. The relay comprises four legs of 10, 7, 11 and 10 miles, with changeovers at Maxton Churchyard and Rhymer's Stone.

Entry for the ultramarathon is limited to 300 places with an entry fee of £60 and a waiting list thereafter. The relay is limited to 25 teams; team entry is £120 for up to four runners and all team members must be aged 20 or over. The organiser offers concessions including a Vet70 discount code, payment plans for low incomes, and a number of subsidised places for trans and nonbinary runners via a partner organisation.

The route is fully marked and a GPX file is available. Electronic timing is used and live updates are provided online. Checkpoints are provided at set mileages with water and Coke available; drop bags are permitted at several checkpoints. Compulsory kit includes an emergency foil blanket, a waterproof top or jacket with taped seams and hood, and a fully charged switched on mobile phone; runners must carry these items while running. Changing and showering facilities are provided in the Jed Thistle Pavilion and free hot drinks and soup are supplied after the race.
