The Enchanted Ultra 50K is a 50-kilometre trail race on 19 September 2026 in Wooler, United Kingdom. It is organised by Northern Fell Running Events Ltd with involvement from Cheviot TRAIL Events. Entries open 17 October 2025 and close 31 August 2026. The minimum age is 18 on the event date. The standard entry fee is £60, rising to £70 from 1 January 2026. The number of places is limited. Dogs are not allowed. Participants may be filmed or photographed and images may be used for promotional purposes.
Course and logistics
The route starts at The Mart in Wooler and runs through the Cheviot hills. Key features include Humbleton Hill, the St Cuthbert's Way, the ancient hillfort of Yeavering Bell, and passages through the College Valley and up to Cheviot. Checkpoint 1 is at Hethpool (about 10 miles) and checkpoint 2 is at Langleeford (about 22 miles). Navigation is required using a GPS device and a supplied digital route. The event allows 11 hours to complete the course. The entry package includes a digital route map, a waterproof map, a GPS tracker, marshals on the course, medical cover, two stocked aid stations (including real Coke), soup and sandwiches at the finish, a finisher’s medal and a certificate.
