Lilliesleaf 10K Run for Harris Trust

The event on 18 October 2026 is a 10 km off road run over a hilly route through the fields and tracks of the Riddell Estate. The course offers scenic views of the Eildon and Cheviot Hills and will include walkers along the route.

This is an annual fundraising event organised by the charity Harris Trust. Entry is on a pay what you can donation basis. The field is limited to 200 runners and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The event is family friendly and open to all ages; under 16s must have a responsible adult present. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Prizes are planned for first, second and third places in male and female categories, veteran 50 male and female, under 16 male and female, and runners with dogs. The event is held under Scottish Hill Runner rules.

Registration takes place at Currie Memorial Hall, Main Street, Lilliesleaf TD6 9HX. The race start and finish are at the Leaf Green, adjacent to the village hall. Post race refreshments and prizegiving are at Currie Memorial Hall, where village hall volunteers will provide free homemade soup and bread. A traditional hill race near Flotterstone with a steep 5.2 km senior route, a short junior run, marshalled course and limited facilities.

A fully off road 10km trail race at Rock UK in Newcastleton on 15 August 2026. The one lap course is chip timed with a halfway water station, marked and marshalled routes, bespoke medals and prize categories for adults and vets.

A pair of short hill races on the grassy slopes of Cademuir Hill near Peebles, offering 3 km and 6 km courses with notable climbs. Online entry is preferred and the event is Scottish Athletics licensed.

A challenging fell race in Northumberland's beautiful countryside. The 5.8km route features 300m of climb and is part of the regional championship. Entry is available on the day.
