Borders XC winter series 2026/27

Borders XC winter series 2026/27 is a seven-round cross-country league beginning on 1 November 2026 at Torness, Dunbar. Subsequent rounds are scheduled at Hay Lodge Park, Peebles (29 November 2026); Stirches, Hawick (13 December 2026); Paxton House (10 January 2027); a Musselburgh & District AC hosted round with venue to be confirmed (24 January 2027); Gala (7 February 2027); and a final presentation round at Lauder (28 February 2027).

Entry for the series closes at midnight on Friday 16 October 2026. Series fees are stated as £51 for seniors and £18 for juniors. Senior entrants who provide a valid Scottish Athletics or English Athletics membership number receive a £21 discount, reducing the senior entry cost to £30.

Each competitor receives a unique bib with an NFC chip affixed to the back; the same bib and chip are intended for use across all seven races. Race numbers and a series briefing will be posted before the first round, so contact and club details held by the entry system must be kept up to date for posting and team scoring.

The series follows a published code of conduct covering respectful behaviour, fair play, and social media. Participants are also required to be aware of and adhere to the UK Athletics anti-doping rules. Senior age categories follow masters five-year bands starting at M35 and running through to M80 plus, with a prize allocated for the M80 category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
