Fan Brycheiniog is a 15.5 km mountain race in Glyntawe with 840 m of climb. The course runs over rough tracks and open fell and requires navigation and competent mountain skills.

Three coastal trail races on 26 September 2026 around the Gower Peninsula offer routes of 50, 34 and 23 miles along cliffs, bays and coastal paths. The event is self navigated with checkpoints, GPS tracking and coach transfers to starts.

A trail event on 26 September 2026 at Bagwell Farm Touring Park offering 10k, half and full marathons plus a marathon relay and canicross. Routes run mostly off road along The Fleet Lagoon and the event raises funds for local charities.

The Forest of Dean Autumn Half Marathon is a measured 13 miles 192.5 yards race on forest trails with no road crossings. Organised by the Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean, the event raises funds for local and national charities.

Trail races at Salisbury Racecourse feature marathon, half marathon and 10K routes across undulating downland and ancient tracks, with parking, permanent toilets and hot showers. Finishers receive medals and the top three in each event rece..

A coastal 10 km race from Portishead Open Air Pool with mixed terrain and sea views past Black Nore Lighthouse. The undulating route features a midway water station, chip timing and a finisher medal, with entries limited to 350.

Multi terrain 5 km and 10 km races plus a canicross event at Amport Cricket Club on 27 September 2026. Entry is by pre registration only and the courses include trails, tarmac and single track sections.

Breidden Hills is an 11.5 km fell race around Criggion, Shropshire with 790 m of ascent. The course is partially marked so navigational skills and kit checks are required, entrants must be over 18 and entry is £8.

October 2026

A continuous 100 mile race around Dartmoor on the waymarked Dartmoor Way, featuring roughly 4000 m of ascent, six indoor checkpoints with hot food, GPS tracking and a 34 hour time limit in variable late autumn conditions.

A six hour timed event on a 4.4 km loop in the Lower Otter valley. Solo and pairs options, aid station every loop, with cafe and showers at Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club.

East Devon 8 Trigs on 3 October 2026 offers self navigated routes visiting trigpoints over about 22 km, 40 km and 53 km. The event starts in Budleigh Salterton, includes GPS tracking and provides finish facilities.

A 7 hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park where runners choose their distance. Finishers from 3km receive a themed medal, doughnuts and a goody bag, with aid tables and vegan options on course.
