Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash

The Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash is a 5 km off road event held at the Tinkley Gate National Trust site, Woodchester, GL10 3UH. The event seeks 250 Santas and elves and raises funds for Allsorts, a local charity that supports children and young people with additional needs and their families. Participants are encouraged to wear Santa outfits or festive costumes. Festive dogs are allowed on short handheld leads, one dog per participant.

U11 Santas must run with a parent or guardian Santa and be older than eight on the day of the run. U12 participants may complete only one lap, covering a maximum of 2.5 km. The on site café will be open at the start and end of the event. Carol singers at start and finish are to be confirmed and other Christmas activities are being planned. Parking is available in the National Trust car park; parking is free for National Trust members and costs £3 for non members. The listed entry fee for the event is £17. A multi-distance trek and trail event from a Cirencester basecamp with a looped 100 km route and options from 10 km to 100 km, supported by marquee rest stops, GPS tracking, medical teams, camping and shuttle transfers.

Competitors run repeated hourly laps of 6706 metres at Breakheart Quarry until only one runner remains. The mixed trail loop has about 560 ft of ascent per lap and heads-up warnings are given before each start.

Run as many 3.28 mile laps as you wish along the scenic Stroud Waterways canal. This flexible timed event caters to all distances from 5k to ultra marathon with a seven hour time limit and a relaxed start window.
