Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash

The Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash is a festive, family-friendly off road event at Tinkley Gate National Trust site, Woodchester, GL10 3UH. The main course is a 5 km trail aimed at participants wearing Santa or other festive costumes. The organiser plans a field of up to 250 Santas and elves to raise funds for Allsorts, a local charity supporting children and young people with additional needs and their families.

Participants may run, jog, or walk. U11 entrants must run with a parent or guardian and be older than eight on the day. U12 entrants may complete only one lap, covering a maximum of 2.5 km. Dogs are allowed on a short handheld leash, limited to one dog per participant.

Facilities and event details include a café open at the start and finish, planned seasonal activities and carol singing (to be confirmed), and parking in the National Trust car park. Parking is free for National Trust members and costs £3 for non-members. The entry offer for the event is listed at £17 per entrant. Run your own distance along the scenic Stroud Waterways canal in this flexible timed event. Start when you like within a one-hour window and see how far you can go in seven hours. Every participant gets a finisher's medal.

An annual off-road race day around Chepstow Park Woods starting and finishing at Hood Memorial Hall, Devauden. Distances include 10k, 5k, 2.4k for ages 8 plus and a 60m junior dash with a small donation on the day.
