Overview

The Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash is a 5 km off-road event. It is a family-friendly event that raises funds for Allsorts, a local charity supporting children and young people with additional needs and their families. The event has a capacity for 250 participants.

Location and Course

The event takes place on the trails at the National Trust Tinkley Gate site near Woodchester. Parking is available on-site in the National Trust car park; it is free for National Trust members and costs £3 for non-members. The course is a 5 km loop. Participants under 12 years old can opt to complete one lap, covering 2.5 km maximum.

Participation Details

Participants are encouraged to wear festive costumes, such as Santa outfits. The event welcomes participants of all paces, whether they run, jog, or walk. Well-behaved dogs are allowed on a short, handheld leash, with a limit of one dog per participant. The on-site café is open at the start and end of the event. Carol singers may perform at the start and finish line, though this is to be confirmed.

Entry is open to participants aged 8 and over on the day of the event. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the run.
