Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash

The Allsorts Tinkley Gate Santa Dash is a festive off-road event held at the National Trust Tinkley Gate site in Woodchester. This community-focused gathering invites up to 250 participants to complete a course through the trails while wearing Santa outfits or other holiday costumes. The event serves as a fundraiser for Allsorts, a local charity that supports children and young people with additional needs and their families.

Participants can choose to run, jog, or walk the course. The event features two distance options:

  • 5 km
  • 2.5 km

The 2.5 km distance consists of a single lap of the course and is the maximum distance permitted for participants under the age of 12. Children under 11 must be at least 8 years old on the day of the run and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The event is inclusive of dogs, allowing one dog per person provided they are kept on a short handheld lead. On-site facilities include a café situated at the start and finish area, and parking is available at the National Trust car park. For those using the car park, fees apply for non-members of the National Trust, while members may park for free. The course route includes off-road trails and some paved sections with varying terrain, including an uphill segment near the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
