The 8 Maids a Milking Run is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series, held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The event date is 13th December 2026. Participants choose from the following distances:

Each lap measures 2.5 km. Entrants have a maximum of 7 hours to complete their chosen distance. The course is offroad and contained within the grounds of Pengethley Manor; the organiser describes it as very tough, with a hill on each lap and a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. Entry, medals and logistics

Entry fees listed by the organiser are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All entry fees are non-refundable. There is a charity entry option where an entry can be secured for £10.00 provided the entrant commits to raising a minimum of twice that amount for the nominated charity and raises the money at least four weeks before the event. Race bibs are collected at registration on the day. Virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email and can have the virtual medal posted after run verification; international postage costs apply. Run through vineyards and rolling laps at Pengethley Manor, choosing distances from 5k to ultra with a seven hour overall time limit. Finishers earn medals and a January virtual option is available.
