The 8 Maids a Milking is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series, held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf) on 13th December 2026. The event is offroad and takes place entirely within the manor grounds. Each lap is 2.5 km and includes a hill and a series of up and downs through two vineyards. Entrants choose a target distance from the listed options and the event is open to walkers and runners. Competitors must be aged 18 or over. Participants have a seven hour time limit to complete their chosen distance.

Race entry fees are listed as: Race Entry £29.00; Virtual UK Entry £25.00; Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All fees are non refundable. Entries may be deferred for £15.00 up to four weeks before the event. A charity entry option is offered for a total £10.00 plus charges, subject to raising at least twice that amount for the nominated charity and meeting fundraising deadlines. Race bibs are collected at registration; virtual bibs are emailed after entry. Virtual runners can receive the same type of medal once their run is verified via the organiser’s verification process or by submitting proof.
