Hillfort Hustle 10 Mile Trail Race

The Hillfort Hustle is a trail run with two distances. Both races start and finish in the village of Aymestrey, Herefordshire.

The route uses a mix of terrain, including country lanes, forest tracks, and soft trails. The 10 Mile Hustle course includes 1,800 feet of climb. The 5 Mile Half Hustle includes 1,000 feet of climb.

There is course support and water stations. The 10-mile course has two water stations, located at 2.5 and 7.5 miles. The 5-mile course has one water station at 2.5 miles.

Trail runs nearby

A multi-distance trail ultra on 2 May 2026 around the Worcestershire Way, with options of 23, 31, 38 or 47 miles. Self-navigation, downloadable GPX and staffed checkpoints support runners while timelord pacers offer route guidance.

Trail race at Carding Mill Valley on 2 May 2026 offering a half marathon (13.1 miles) and a full marathon of two laps. Entries are limited to 200 and a virtual option runs during the week of May 4th.

A 13.4 km fell race around Talgarth with 610 m of ascent. The course is partially marked and requires navigation; entry is £10 pre entry or £15 on the day and the event is insured by the WFRA.

Sheinton Steeplchase is a provisional 5.3 km cross-country near Cressage on 6 May 2026 with about 100 m of ascent. Entry is on the day for £10 and 2026 will be the last running of the race.
