The 4 Calling Birds Run is part of a 12-day Christmas race series at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The event offers multiple distance options and gives participants seven hours to complete their chosen distance. Each lap measures 2.5 km and the course runs off-road within the manor grounds, including a hill plus a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.

Entry, medals and rules

Standard race entry and virtual entry options are available. Published fees include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All entry fees are non-refundable. A charity entry option is offered for a £10.00 booking charge plus a requirement to raise at least twice that amount for the nominated charity, with funds due at least four weeks before the event. Paid entrants receive physical medals; virtual participants can earn a medal if they sign up, have their run verified and pay any applicable postage for international posting. A virtual free option is available for results listing without a medal. Entrants collect race bibs at registration; virtual bibs are emailed after entry. A personal cancellation insurance policy is available at booking. Deferral to the next year is possible for £15 up to four weeks before the event.
