The 4 Calling Birds Run

The 4 Calling Birds Run is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose one target distance from the following list and complete it within a seven hour time limit.

The course is offroad and lies entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. Each lap is 2.5k, includes a short hill that is run on every lap, and passes through two vineyards with a series of ups and downs. The event is described as suitable for walkers and runners. Race bibs are collected at registration. Virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email, which may take a day or two to arrive.

Medals are part of the 12 Days of Christmas series; each day has its own unique medal and race and virtual medals are the same type. Virtual participation can be recorded on the results list. Paid virtual entries can receive physical medals posted to them with additional international postage charges where applicable.

Entry fees are non refundable. Standard fees listed include Race entry £29.00, Virtual UK entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas entry £39.00. Trail runs nearby

Trail 5k and new 10k at Dunkertons Park lead through fields and woodlands to elevated viewpoints. Prizes are awarded for top three men and women and refreshments are provided at the race HQ.

A chip timed *10k* trail run on 24 May 2026 that starts and finishes at Bredon Cricket Club. The marshalled route climbs to the 299 m summit of Bredon Hill and all finishers receive a medal.

Crocodile 8 on 24 May 2026 is a hilly trail and tarmac race around Tillington and Burghill with music en route and an after-event party at Burghill Community Academy. Senior and junior distances are available.

An off-road race in Dursley on 25 May 2026 covering about 10.31 km with 318 m of climb, visiting Cam Peak, Cam Long Down, Uley Bury and Downham Hill. Entries are limited to 120 and handled via Entry Central.
