Event Overview

The 4 Calling Birds Run is part of a Christmas-themed series of events called the 12 Days of Christmas. It takes place on 9th December 2026 at Pengethley Manor in Ross-on-Wye.

Distances and Format

Participants choose their target distance from the following options:

The overall time limit to complete the chosen distance is 7 hours. Each lap on the course is 2.5 km. The event is open to both runners and walkers.

Course Details

The course is an off-road route located entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. It is described as "tough" and includes a hill that is run on each lap, as well as a series of ups and downs through two vineyards.

Participation Options

There is an option to participate virtually. Virtual runners can complete their chosen distance anywhere in the world at a time that suits them, though it is preferably done on the event date.

Entry and Medals

Paid entry provides a unique finisher's medal specific to this event in the series. It is also possible to take part for free by joining the organizer's Strava club, "Every Mile Counts," and completing the run, though free participants do not receive a medal.
