Mortimer Forest Trail Race is a multi-terrain event staged by Ludlow Runners in Moor Park School, Ludlow, on 14 December 2025. The programme offers two courses: a 10-mile route over challenging forest tracks including the notorious Big Dippers and a climb to the top of High Vinnalls, finishing with a scenic downhill and far-reaching views toward the Welsh Marches, Malvern Hills and Brecon Beacons; and a 4-mile route that stays on easier tracks but still climbs High Vinnalls. The course is marshalled and signed, with two road crossings. Parking is at Moor Park School; dogs are not allowed; proceeds support Friends of Mortimer Forest and Herefordshire Wildlife Trust.
