Croome by Night

Worcester, United Kingdom • 10 Aug 2026

Croome By Night Summer edition

This is an informal, untimed group run around Croome Park on a single lap route that follows much of the original Croome Capability Canter course while avoiding wooded sections. The route includes a section around the lake and crosses the bridge to the Island Pavilion; the uphill start on the original course is avoided.

The advertised main distance is 6 miles (9.65 km). For runners wishing to cover less ground there are shorter cutoffs.

  • 6 miles (9.65 km)
  • 5 miles (cutoff option)
  • 3 miles (cutoff option)

The surface is multi-terrain; trail shoes are recommended and spikes are not suitable. The course is off-road, undulating in profile and traffic free. The event is informal and not licensed as a race; participants may run at their own pace and may time themselves. A pre-run safety briefing will be held.

Refreshments are provided after the run; all runners receive cake and tea or coffee and donations of cake are welcomed. Facilities listed include toilets but no changing areas or bag storage. The event has limited parking on site. On-the-day entry is available with card or cash. Minimum age is 18. Profits from the event will be given to the National Trust to help maintain Croome Park.
