Set in South Wales, Celtic Trail Races offers three trail challenges: the Ultra (34 miles), Marathon (26 miles), and Half Marathon (13 miles). The routes wind through Afan Forest and the Rhigos range, finishing along the Coed Morgannwg Way with dramatic views of the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountain, South Wales Valleys and coast. The course features wide forest tracks, climbs, descents, river crossings and single-track sections, delivering a wild, remote feel.

All courses end at Dare Valley Country Park in Aberdare; the Half Marathon starts at Resolven. Routes are fully marked with GPS files, checkpoints, finisher medals, and a festive finish with mince pies. Coach transport is available for the Half Marathon only.
