12 Drummers Drumming Run

The 12 Drummers Drumming Run is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series held within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose their target distance and must complete it within a seven hour time limit. Each lap measures 2.5 km and the course is offroad, running through two vineyards with a notable hill on each circuit. The route is described as very tough and is suitable for both walkers and runners.

Both in-person and virtual participation options are offered. Virtual runners can receive the same type of medal as race entrants once their run is verified; international postage costs for medals apply. There is also a free virtual option that records results without issuing a medal. Entry fees are stated as non refundable; published fees include Race Entry at £29.00, Virtual UK Entry at £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry at £39.00. A charity entry option is available for a reduced entry fee of £10.00 provided the entrant commits to raising a minimum of twice that amount for the nominated charity and meets the fundraising deadline. Trail runs nearby

Trail 5k and new 10k at Dunkertons Park lead through fields and woodlands to elevated viewpoints. Prizes are awarded for top three men and women and refreshments are provided at the race HQ.

A chip timed *10k* trail run on 24 May 2026 that starts and finishes at Bredon Cricket Club. The marshalled route climbs to the 299 m summit of Bredon Hill and all finishers receive a medal.

Crocodile 8 on 24 May 2026 is a hilly trail and tarmac race around Tillington and Burghill with music en route and an after-event party at Burghill Community Academy. Senior and junior distances are available.

An off-road race in Dursley on 25 May 2026 covering about 10.31 km with 318 m of climb, visiting Cam Peak, Cam Long Down, Uley Bury and Downham Hill. Entries are limited to 120 and handled via Entry Central.
