The 12 Drummers Drumming Run takes place at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The event is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series. The course is offroad and runs entirely within the manor grounds. Each lap measures 2.5 km and includes a hill and a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. The course is described as very tough. Entrants have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. Participants must be aged 18 or over.

Entry and format

Entrants choose one of the following distances:

Both runners and walkers are accepted. The organiser lists a race entry fee of £29.00, a virtual UK entry at £25.00, and a virtual overseas entry at £39.00. A charity option is available for £10.00 subject to a fundraising requirement of at least twice the entry fee and funds to be raised at least four weeks before the event. Entry fees are non-refundable. Virtual participation is permitted and virtual and race medals are stated to be the same type; international posting of medals may incur an additional postage cost.
