Phoenix : Gloucestershire - Going going gonk - our anniversary run

The event is a pre Christmas anniversary run in Stroud, Gloucestershire (GL5 4UN) on Sunday 13 December 2026. It is a timed event held on a 3.28 mile out and back route along the Stroud Waterways canal at Ebley Wharf. Participants may complete as many or as few laps as they choose within a full seven hour time limit.

All finishers receive a bespoke finishers medal or giveaway memento. Cake and a few surprises will be available on the day. Entry fees are listed as £33.00 for affiliated runners and £35.00 for unaffiliated runners. Places are strictly limited.

The organiser operates a flexible rock up and run arrangement within a one hour start window so arrival time can be varied; special start time requests can be accommodated depending on planned distance. As per UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under; full terms and conditions cover eligibility and other event rules.

Trail runs nearby

An off road 10 km trail run around Barbury Castle near Wroughton, with tracks, hills and ridge top views. The event raises funds for the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity and is currently full with a waiting list.

Trail 5k and new 10k at Dunkertons Park lead through fields and woodlands to elevated viewpoints. Prizes are awarded for top three men and women and refreshments are provided at the race HQ.

A chip timed *10k* trail run on 24 May 2026 that starts and finishes at Bredon Cricket Club. The marshalled route climbs to the 299 m summit of Bredon Hill and all finishers receive a medal.

An off-road race in Dursley on 25 May 2026 covering about 10.31 km with 318 m of climb, visiting Cam Peak, Cam Long Down, Uley Bury and Downham Hill. Entries are limited to 120 and handled via Entry Central.
