The 6 Geese a-laying Run takes place on 12th December 2025 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). It is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series. Participants choose from the following distances:

  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

Each lap is 2.5 km. Entrants have a 7 hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The course is off-road within the grounds of Pengethley Manor and is described as very tough, with a hill on each lap and a series of ups and downs that pass through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Entry, medals and rules

Race bibs are collected at registration on the day; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Virtual runs can be completed anywhere; verified virtual finishers can receive the same type of medal as race finishers, with additional postage costs for international delivery. Entry fees listed are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All fees are non refundable. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. A charity entry option is available for a reduced fee subject to minimum fundraising requirements. Deferral to the following year is possible for £15 if requested up to four weeks before the event.
