The 6 Geese a-laying Run is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series held on 12 December 2025 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose one target distance:

  • 5k (2 laps)
  • 10k
  • Half Marathon
  • Marathon
  • Ultra

Each lap is 2.5 km and competitors have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The course is offroad, run entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and includes a short hill on each lap plus a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners.

Entry and logistics

Standard race entry and virtual entry fees are listed: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All event fees are non-refundable. A charity option allows entry for £10 plus booking charges if the entrant commits to raising at least twice the entry fee amount and raises the funds at least four weeks before the event. Entries may be deferred to the next edition for a £15 fee if done up to four weeks before the event.

Race bibs are collected at registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Medals for race and virtual entrants are the same; international postage for medals incurs an extra charge. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
