3 French Hens Run

Event details

The 3 French Hens Run is one day in a 12-day Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose a target distance from the options below and have a maximum of seven hours to complete that distance. The event is open to walkers and runners. Each lap measures 2.5 km; the course is off-road within the manor grounds and includes a hill on each lap plus a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards.

Entries, medals and rules

Entry fees are non-refundable. Published fees include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity option is available for a reduced entry fee of £10.00 plus booking charges, on the condition that the entrant raises at least twice the entry fee value for the nominated charity and raises the funds at least four weeks before the event. Paid entrants receive race medals; virtual medals are available after verification and may incur additional postage for international addresses. Free participation via the organiser’s Strava group is recorded on the results list but does not include a medal. All entrants must be aged 18 or over and agree to the event terms, including responsibility for their fitness, safety, and accurate registration details.
