The 3 French Hens Run

The 3 French Hens Run is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose from multiple distances and complete laps on an off-road course within the manor grounds.

Distances offered:

• 5k (two laps)
• 10k
• Half Marathon
• Marathon
• Ultra

Each lap measures 2.5 km. The course is off-road and described as very tough, with a hill on each lap and a series of up and downs through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. A seven hour overall time limit applies to the chosen distance.

Entries can be either on-site or virtual. Virtual entries may be completed anywhere; paid virtual entries receive the same type of medal as on-site finishers. Free virtual participation via the organiser’s Strava club is recorded on the results list but does not include a medal. International postage for medals incurs an additional cost.

Entry fees are stated for race and virtual options and are non-refundable. A charity entry option is available at a reduced fee provided the entrant commits to raising a minimum sponsorship amount and meets specified deadlines.
