Event details
The 2 Turtle Doves run takes place on 7 December 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Participants have a 7 hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. A deferral to the following year is available for £15 up to four weeks before the event. Personal cancellation insurance is offered at booking through Event Protect Limited.
Distances and format
Participants choose one of the following target distances:
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Each lap is 2.5 km in distance. The event accepts walkers and runners. A virtual option is available for remote completion with date flexibility; paid virtual entries can receive the same type of medal as race entrants. Free virtual participation is possible via the organiser’s Strava club but does not include a medal.
Course and race services
The course is offroad and runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor. The route includes a hill and a series of up-and-down sections through two vineyards. Race bibs are collected at on-site registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email before the event. Entry fees listed include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK £25.00, and Virtual Overseas £39.00. Each day in the related Christmas series has its own themed medal.
