September 2026

Coastal ultra marathon events on Anglesey include a 130 mile full circumnavigation and a 47 mile point to point race along the coastal path. Routes are mainly trail based, include checkpoints with cut-offs, and feature significant ascent.

A 102 mile, 5,172 m elevation ultramarathon across Snowdonia on 5 September 2026 with 11 checkpoints and a 42 hour cut off. The course is self navigated and runners are tracked online via GB Race Tracker.

A 45 mile mountain ultramarathon in Snowdonia Eryri from Betws-y-Coed, with about 2800 m ascent, five supported checkpoints and mandatory mountain kit. Entry requires previous ultra and mountain experience and a minimum age of 20.

Run the rugged beauty of the Shropshire Hills at Battle of the Borders, starting from Carding Mill Valley and tackling the dramatic Long Mynd ridges. Choose marathon, half marathon or 10K on waymarked, scenic but rewarding trails.

Join a scenic charity 10k across Staffordshire countryside, starting and finishing at the canal side Hartley Arms in Wheaton Aston. With only 150 places, the race finishes with music and food at the pub to celebrate local charities.

RunThrough Snowdonia Sea2Sky in Barmouth invites trail runners to tackle coastal paths and climb Cadair Idris with 12 km, 25 km and 54 km options. Expect stunning views, waymarked trails, chip timing and a lively event village.

A long-distance walking and running event crossing Wales over a 45 mile linear route to be completed within 18 hours, presented as a weekend package with accommodation, coach transport, refreshment stops and route maps.

Take on the Stretton Skyline, a scenic yet demanding 30.5 km fell race around Church Stretton with 1357 m of climb and panoramic Shropshire Hills views. Pre entry only, finishers enjoy a tasty goody bag.
