The course is in Cannock Chase Forest, Rugeley, WS15 2UQ, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with woodland, open heathland, and rolling trails. The event is cani-cross friendly - one controlled dog per runner is permitted. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a drink and a snack. A bespoke event T-shirt is available for an additional £12. A subsidised car parking charge applies; payment is made at Forestry England machines after the event.
