Trails & Tarmac Backyard Ultra is a Limitless Trails event held near Crickhowell in the Black Mountains, Powys, UK. The course is split 50/50 between trail and tarmac with one gradual climb, a short steep section, and otherwise relatively flat terrain. Medals are awarded to anyone who reaches 32 miles. Format, rules and facilities

The event uses a backyard ultra format: each loop starts one hour after the previous loop and all competitors must start at the bell. Competitors must complete each loop within the hour for the loop to count. The winner is the last person to complete a loop; other runners who finish less than 32 miles are recorded as DNF. Common aid stations are provided; no personal aid is allowed during a loop. Artificial aids such as trekking poles are not permitted. Timing of loops is optional and on-site timing will be available.
