Trail Running calendar near Llanfachreth 2026-2027

A five race summer trail series at Wirral Country Park held on the third Tuesday of each month from April to August. Races use a recurring course of about 8K and offer age category prizes, with single race and full series entry options.

A midweek fell race at Tal y Mignedd Campsite in Nantlle Valley featuring a 6.7 km route with 520 m of ascent. The event is part of the North Wales Mid Week Series and includes junior races across multiple age categories.

A 200 mile circular ultra from Machynlleth across Mid Wales with a 120 hour limit and about 30,187 feet of ascent. The course uses Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke and offers 10 aid stations, live tracking and a drop-bag service.

A 51 miles trail and mountain race in Southern Snowdonia with 2,898 m of ascent around Cadair Idris and Rhinog Fach. The event has six checkpoints, live GPS tracking, mandatory kit requirements and a 20 hour cut off.

A summer challenge on the Malvern Hills offering 27 mile and 15 mile routes with substantial ascent, checkpoints and a hot finish meal. The event is based at Colwall Village Hall and is currently full with a waiting list.

A summer trail event on Saturday 20 June 2026 along the Mortimer Trail between Kington and Ludlow, offering an approximately 30 mile multi-terrain ultra and a Croft Half that follows the final section of the route.

Mountain fell race in the Brecon Beacons covering 34 km with 1700 m ascent and eight summits. The anticlockwise route includes Fan y Big, has two checkpoint cutoffs at key points, and is open to runners over 18.

A 7.5 km fell race in Bosley, Peak District on 20 June 2026 with an accompanying 3 km junior race. Entry on the day includes fete admission and parking.
