The route runs on private farmland and is available only during the race. The loop is circa 5.6 miles, follows parts of the Severn Way toward Grimley and returns via fields, footpaths and very quiet lanes. The course is well marked, marshalled and relatively flat.

Event options:

  • 24 hour (J24): Solo or relay teams, pairs, teams of 3 to 5 and teams of 6 to 8
  • 12 hour (J12): Solo only, target of 50 miles, race ends once 50 miles is completed
  • 6 hour (J6): Solo only, six hour option with a single lap required for a finish

Support and facilities include onsite camping for competitors, showers, toilets, several drinking water points and three water stations on the course. Medals and technical t shirts or caps are provided to participants; trophies are awarded by category. Solo runners covering over 100 miles and teams covering over 200 miles receive Joust buckles. The event includes a childrens race with an inflatable obstacle and water play; children must be supervised. During hours of darkness competitors must carry a torch, a mobile phone and a whistle.
