The event takes place on 06 September 2026 at the Rowing Club, Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7DF. Distances on offer:

  • 10K
  • 5K
  • Fun Run (approx 500 m)

Chip timing is used for the 5K and 10K. All routes run near the River Wye, are described as flat and are classed as multi-terrain, off road, and may include grass and mud depending on weather. The event is held under UK Athletics rules with a full race license. Every finisher in the 5K, 10K and Fun Run receives a medal. Prizes are planned for 1st to 3rd places in male and female categories for both 5K and 10K; the 10K also includes age-category prizes in five-year bands from U20 and a first team prize. Canicross prizes are planned for 1st to 3rd in those events.

Entry, rules and facilities

Entry limits: 5K and 10K each limited to 300 runners. Minimum ages: 11 for the 5K, 15 for the 10K. All entrants must sign up in advance; the closing date is 03 September 2026. The Fun Run is for children with under-11s required to be accompanied by an adult. Canicross is available for the 5K and 10K; participants must use a canicross harness and notify organisers at bib collection. There is no official bag drop; full medical cover will be in place. Toilets are available at the Rowing Club, parking is available nearby, and water stations are on course and at the finish. Results will be published post-race. Run a scenic, traffic free 6.5 mile (about 10K) lap of Croome Park with a big hill to start and finish. Trail shoes are recommended and all finishers receive medals and goody bags.
