All routes are multi-terrain and off road, using parts of the river path beside the River Wye. The course is described as flat and may include grass or mud depending on the weather. The event holds a full UK Athletics race licence.

Race information

The 5k and 10k are chip timed. The Fun Run is not chip timed; under 11s must be accompanied by an adult. Entry limits apply: the 5k and 10k each have a 300 runner limit. Minimum ages are 11 for the 5k and 15 for the 10k on the day of the event. All entrants must sign up in advance; the closing date for entries is 03 Sep 2026.

There is no bag drop; belongings are left at participants' own risk. Full medical event cover will be in place. Toilets are available at the Rowing Club. Some parking is available at the Rowing Club with a one-way system and additional parking is available in town. A water station is on course for both the 5k and 10k and water will be available at the finish. Dogs in canicross events must use a canicross harness, be declared at bib collection, and cannot take part in mass starts; water for dogs will be available at the finish.

Every finisher in the 5k, 10k and Fun Run will receive a finishers medal. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and female finishers in the 5k and 10k.
