Pershore Plum 10k and Pershore Plum Plodders

Pershore Plum Plodders is an England Athletics affiliated running club based in Pershore, Worcestershire. The club formally began in 2014 and describes itself as friendly and inclusive, with adult members of various ages and abilities from across Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Club colours are purple and white.

The club achieved England Athletics Club Standards in 2022 and has qualified run leaders holding LiRF and CiRF awards. The group reports the experience of more than 200 members and offers support for a wide range of running goals.

Regular activities include Plod Nights and weekly attendance at Worcester Woods parkrun, where many members stay afterward for chat and refreshments. Members also regularly attend other local parkruns such as Evesham and Worcester Pitchcroft. The club operates an online store for members only; ordered kit is collected at Worcester Woods parkrun or on Monday and Wednesday Plod Nights by arrangement.

Trail runs nearby

A multi-distance trail ultra on 2 May 2026 around the Worcestershire Way, with options of 23, 31, 38 or 47 miles. Self-navigation, downloadable GPX and staffed checkpoints support runners while timelord pacers offer route guidance.

A 5 kilometre obstacle course at Stoneleigh Park on 02 May 2026 with climb crawl and slide challenges. Minimum fundraising target is £50 and the event is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Tempo Trail Races in Ilmington on 3 May 2026 features 100K, new 50K, marathon, half marathon and 10K trail distances with feed stations, baggage support and a tracker for the ultras.

Run your own distance along the scenic Stroud Waterways canal in this flexible timed event. Start when you like within a one-hour window and see how far you can go in seven hours. Every participant gets a finisher's medal.
