Battle of the Borders
Battle of the Borders is a trail running event in the Shropshire Hills with race HQ at Carding Mill Valley, Church Stretton, Shropshire. The route crosses The Long Mynd and National Trust land. The full marathon is staged as a single lap rather than loops or out-and-back sections.
Distances offered include:
- Marathon 26.2 miles single lap
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 10K
The course will be fully marked but participants should carry a map of the area. Runners are expected to carry a rucksack with a minimum of 500 ml of water and a basic first aid kit. The entry price includes a medal and there are well stocked aid stations on the course. Marshals will be present along the route.
