Across Wales Walk

The Across Wales Walk is a long distance event that crosses the principality of Wales. Participants may walk or run a 45 mile linear route and aim to complete it within an 18 hour time limit. The route is presented as a single crossing from one side of Wales to the other.

The event is organised as a full weekend package. Arrangements include overnight accommodation before and after the crossing, coach transport to the start and return to Clun, refreshments provided en route, and a presentation ceremony after the event.

Bookings for the next edition are open. The event traditionally takes place in September and recent editions have reported high completion rates. Qualification requirements were reduced in 2020 from five to three previous successful completions. The organisers note that the event is not endorsed by the LDWA.

Further practical information such as route maps, GPS tracks, hints and FAQs are published by the organisers, and the event website lists additional features including a doubling option and other customary elements for participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
