WILD HYBRID BIRMINGHAM Cannock Chase Forest Solos

The event is scheduled for 19 September 2026 at Cannock Chase Forest, Rugeley, WS15 2UQ. The venue includes extensive trails, paths, fire roads and woodland used for trail running. A functional work area will be located among the trees near the venue centre and parking.

There are ruck run options over trail distances. Competitors run with weighted packs; required pack weights are 10 kg for men and 7 kg for women. Competitors must bring their own pack and packs will be weighed at registration.

Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. All finishers will receive Wild Hybrid merchandise and products from event sponsors. Prizes will be awarded to positions 1 to 3 in each standard category. Parking for competitors is expected to be around £5. Route details are to be confirmed. Trail runs nearby

Trail races at Tackeroo Campsite in Cannock Chase with 10 km, half and full marathon options plus a two person marathon relay. Courses are entirely off road with rolling terrain, singletrack and regular feed stations.

A 26.2 mile walk/run from and back to Alstonefield in the White Peak with 4800 feet of ascent and descent. Six manned checkpoints, locally made hot food at the finish, and certificates and cloth badges for finishers.

Tackle the Peak District on 21 May 2026 at the Parks Life fell race in Belper Parks Recreation Ground. Choose the main 7 km route with 210 m climb or shorter junior races for U12 and U10, with on the day entries available.

An evening fell race around Carsington Pasture with views of the Peak District and Carsington Water. The *9.5 km* route has 230 m of ascent, rough pasture and two road crossings; free parking and post race food are available.
