Abersoch 2K Beach Blast

The Elvins Estate Agents ABERSOCH 2K Beach Blast takes place on Saturday 19 September 2026 along Abersoch beach. The course runs on both hard and soft sand and includes several groynes that runners must negotiate.

Timing chips attached to race numbers provide individual times for each competitor. All finishers receive a zinc alloy race medal with a bespoke lanyard. The event records for the course stand at Boys 6:42 and Girls 7:15, both set in 2014.

Cash prizes are awarded to winners in the Open, Under 14, Under 12, Under 10 and Under 8 categories, and there is a prize for a new course record. Specific prize amounts include a course record prize of £25, Open category prizes of £20 for boys and girls, and smaller cash awards for the younger age groups.
