A country show hill race in Powburn on 1 August 2026 with a main six mile route over East Hill and a two mile junior race; the course follows farm fields and is fully marked.

A fell race on Farleton Knott near Kendal with a **2.60 mile** route and 750 feet of climb, designated as a BOFRA Championship counter. Separate senior, under-17 and junior courses are provided and parking costs £3.

Part of a four-event 10k series, the Darlington Trail 10k is a fast, flat course in Low Coniscliffe, Darlington, open to all ages and abilities. All entrants receive a medal and goody bag, with prizes for top finishers and a series league.

Forestburn is a short fell race near Rothbury on 9 August 2026. The course is about 5.6 km with 150 m of climb and is held at the Gate Pub as part of the Simonside Country Fair.

Join this classic Keswick fell race in the Lake District on Wed 12 Aug 2026 for a lively 4.7 mile trail challenge with 280 m climb and a summit of Latrigg. On the day entries are welcome, fee £5 and runners must be 16 or older.

Join the Rusland 5, a scenic fell race across Rusland Showfield in the Lake District featuring a 4.8 mile route with 310 m of climb and shorter senior and junior options. Race entry is free; the show costs £5 and accepts entries on the day.

A trail half marathon in Morland, Eden Valley, covering 13.6 miles of mixed off road terrain with about 1330 ft of ascent. The largely self navigated route has two checkpoints and a five hour cut off and welcomes runners and walkers.

Join the Keswick Sports Fell Race in the Lake District on Sun 16 Aug 2026 for a punchy 3 mile, 290 m climb course from Fitz Park Cricket Pavilion. Entry on the day and juniors welcome with big prizes for record breakers.
