Lakeland Paws Dogs@Dodd (2 November 2025)

Lakeland Paws Dogs@Dodd is a trail event set in Dodd Wood, organised by Green Space Events Ltd as part of the Lakeland Paws series (season 4). The series includes nine events plus a Dawn 2 Dusk event. The event is currently full and no new entries can be made. Entries opened on 25 July 2025 and closed on 1 November 2025. The minimum age to enter is 16 or older and the listed entry fee was £19. The event is chip timed and the course is waymarked; GPX files are available.

Course and format

The route mixes forest roads and trails and largely follows wide trails, with some narrower sections and a relatively steep final descent. Individual starts are used so dogs have space to start safely. Runners may compete with or without dogs; when running with dogs the organiser allows two dogs per runner on the wider sections. All dogs must run on a suitable harness.

Distances offered:

  • 8K loop, with 370 m of ascent
  • 5K, with 210 m of ascent

The course provides views toward the Coledale Fells and includes climbs that contour around the summit of Dodd. The event will be marked and chip timed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
