Place Fell 15 is a semi technical 15 km trail race held around the base of Place Fell on the shores of Ullswater. The route includes approximately 680 m of ascent and is part of the Helvellyn Sky Ultra weekend. The event starts and finishes at the King George Playing Field in Patterdale.

The course begins with fields and mildly technical trails, includes a short road section, and then circumnavigates Place Fell in an anti clockwise direction. Runners pass Silver Crag and descend to Silver Bay before reaching the mid route feed and water station. The route later rises to Boredale Hause and then descends back through earlier checkpoints to the finish at the events centre.

Entries open on 4 October 2025 and close on 15 July 2026. The minimum age is 16 on the event date. The listed entry fee is £40 and the maximum allowed time on course is 3.5 hours.

Race support includes fully marked trails and footpaths, an aid station mid way, and manned checkpoints. Finish provisions noted by the organiser include a recycled paper mache wild flower seed bomb medal and a vegan salty soup. A 23 mile winter walk and run around the Lyth Valley from Abbot Hall Social Centre in Kendal, passing Cunswick Fell, Whitbarrow Scar and Scout Scar. The event has mandatory winter kit rules and currently operates a waiting list.
