Mud Madness - Chatelherault

Mud Madness takes place on 4 October 2026 at Chatelherault Country Park and is organised by South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture. The event features mud runs with obstacles, water slides and river hazards around the Avon, and includes activities for children and families.

  • 1 km mini mud run - Age 4-11, on the lawn.

The course is marked with signs, tape and arrows and will have marshals in high visibility clothing around the route. Obstacles and water hazards are placed throughout; marshals can assist and provide first aid if required. The 1 km children’s route is on the lawn with marshals at each obstacle; adults may accompany or jog around the taped route to cheer or assist.
