K12 Ultra Marathon 2026
The K12 Ultra Marathon takes place on 2 August 2026 at Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock. The event includes both K12 and K6 ultra formats. The course is an approximately 4 km circular loop set largely on park paths; the route includes mixed terrain and several hill sections.
Both individual and relay entries are based on covering the greatest distance within an allocated 12 hour period. The relay format allows teams of up to four people; teams may divide the 12 hours between members in any way they prefer. The winner in each category is the individual or team that completes the longest distance in the allotted time.
Event entries include chip timing, a finishers medal, first aid protection, and marshals. There is a dedicated athletes village with space for tented support, plus on site toilets, showers, a cafe, and access to boiling water.
