Stride Athletics: Glasgow Urban Orienteering

Stride Athletics: Glasgow Urban Orienteering takes place on 22nd July 2026 in Pollock Park. The event is presented as urban orienteering for teams of two who follow clues to navigate from point to point. The route is described as very basic orienteering and does not require a compass.

The event is organised as an evening activity and the programme includes declarations, a race start and a race social with prize giving. Exact location details and event information will be communicated to entrants prior to the event.

Teams work together to move between checkpoints using written clues. The format emphasises navigation between points rather than technical mapwork, and it is presented as suitable for a range of abilities and experiences. Logistics such as precise meeting points and additional participant information are provided to those who enter.

The organiser identifies the setting as Pollock Park and lists a social element after the activity. Other operational details appear to be managed by the organiser and supplied directly to entrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
