The Maverick Ochil Hills Trail
Stirling, United Kingdom • 8 Aug 2026
Location and Route
The event takes place at the University of Stirling in Scotland, starting from Airthrey Castle. Runners go out through Hermitage Wood and Black Hill on undulating open trails, with the Ochil Hills as a distant viewpoint. The longer distances include climbs and fell trails within the Ochil Hills.
The event works with local partners, including the University, Mountain Rescue, and the Future Forest Charity. Due to likely high temperatures, dogs are not allowed.
