Rouken Glen Trail Race

Glasgow, United Kingdom • 26 Jul 2026

ACORN Rouken Glen Trail Race

The event takes place in Rouken Glen Country Park, a 143 acre historic park about 10 km south of Glasgow. The race start and finish are adjacent to the Davieland Road entrance, close to Whitecraigs train station. Registration is located at the opposite end of the park from the usual entrance.

The route is roughly 8 km made up of two 4 km laps, which is just under 5 miles. The course is multi-terrain and covers a large area of the park; it includes some muddy sections, some inclines and declines, and some faster paved stretches. Weather conditions may affect surface underfoot and recommended footwear.

Entries are limited to 100 runners. Entry fees include a discounted rate for ARC affiliated runners and there will be no entries on the day. As a pop-up event there is no race-specific merchandise, although Acorn Trails buffs will be available. Finish times are recorded manually; runners should pin their race bib in a clear position on the front.

Prizes will be awarded to winners and a small number of spot prizes will be offered. A race brief will be emailed to entrants the day before the event and contains important race regulations and safety information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
