Rising Sun Country Park 10K Trail Run 2026

The Rising Sun Country Park 10K Trail Run is scheduled for 27 September 2026 at Rising Sun Country Park in Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne. The course runs through grasslands, woodlands and the park's nature reserve and follows a mixture of marked and unmarked paths.

The route includes varied terrain with some steep inclines, wet patches and muddy sections. Runners are likely to encounter local wildlife along the trails. The event offers a Canicross option and allows one well controlled dog per runner.

Minimum age for participants is 16 years on the day of the event. Entry carries a fee of £27.00 plus an additional booking fee per order. Registration closes on 25 September 2026.
