Heart and Soul Fest 2026

Heart and Soul Fest takes place Friday 31 July to Saturday 1 August at Druridge Bay Country Park in Northumberland. The two day festival combines endurance events, fitness activities, live music, food and community programming.

Races and challenges include the Heart Break Lake Ultra and the HSR Hybrid, which mixes functional fitness with endurance around a loop.

  • 24 hour timed race around the loop
  • 12 hour timed race around the loop
  • 4 hour timed race around the loop

Festival features run throughout the weekend and include live music and DJs, a licensed bar, street food and fitness vendors, plus a Saturday night afterparty. New additions for 2026 include a Recovery Zone with saunas and ice baths, and wellness activities such as yoga and pilates.

Weekend programming sets out a flow across the two days: Friday opens registration and launches the arena while the Heart Break Lake 24 hour race begins; Saturday presents the full festival programme with the Heart Break Lake 12 hour and 4 hour races, the HSR Hybrid, wellness sessions, vendors, music and the afterparty.

All Heart Break Lake options can be entered solo, in pairs or in teams of up to 10. Access to the festival arena is managed via an arena pass and events are entered separately. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
