The Northumberlandia 10K Trail Race

The Northumberlandia 10K Trail Race takes place at the unique Northumberlandia landform and its surrounding countryside in Cramlington. Participants have the opportunity to run across a significant structure and explore restricted areas of a former open-cast site. The course features a mix of terrain, including hills, stone paths, soft trails, and forest tracks.

The event offers two distinct running opportunities:

  • 10 km trail race for participants aged 18 and older.
  • 1 mile children's fun run consisting of a loop around the landform.

The course is fully way-marked and includes a water station located at the fourth mile. Facilities at the venue include an event village with various stalls, an on-site café, toilets, and parking. The park remains open until late on the day of the event, allowing participants to use the facilities after finishing their run. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.

The race is held on Saturday 18th July 2026. Per the organizer's policy, dogs are not permitted to participate in the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
