The Captain Callcott Canter

The Captain Callcott Canter is a multi-terrain trail race held in the scenic Derwenthaugh Park, Blaydon-on-Tyne, Gateshead. Organized by the Derwent Valley Running Club in partnership with Greener Miles Running, the event features a course that runs over and beneath the historic 9 Arches Viaduct. The race covers just under 6 miles and is open to participants aged 17 and older. Known for its beautiful natural setting and challenging terrain, the event offers a timed competitive experience.
