Harkerside Hustle is scheduled for Sunday 4 October 2026. The event is organised by DalesRunner and is the finale of a short course trail series. The main race distance is a half marathon. Course and race services

The race starts and finishes at The Dales Bike Centre in Reeth. The route leaves Grinton and follows paths in Swaledale, including a short road section onto Harkerside Moor, past an iron age farmstead, up Whitaside Moor, a descent through Apedale, a climb to the Height of Greets, and crossings near Grinton Smelt Mill and Sharrow Hill before returning to the Dales Bike Centre. The course surface includes moorland trods, hard-packed tracks and grassy paths. Distances are described as rough estimates. A GPX file and map are available. Aid stations are fully stocked and include vegan and gluten-free options. A finishers soup and roll is included in the entry. Hot drinks and cakes are available to purchase from The Dales Bike Centre cafe. Car parking is provided. A finishers neck tube is offered for a small additional fee. Enjoy an autumn 5k trail at Kiplin Hall, winding through gardens, woods and grassland on a compact, spectator friendly course. Warm up with a hot drink and spiced flapjack at the finish.

Take on the Really Wild Boar fell race on Sat 6 Dec 2025 in the York Dales, a 9 km challenge with 450 m of climb through classic fell terrain. On the day entry is £10 and includes soup and a roll. Register at the Fat Lamb Country Inn.
