The Harkerside Hustle is a half marathon trail race and the finale of the short course trail series. It takes place on October 4, 2026, starting in Grinton and finishing at The Dales Bike Centre in Reeth.

Route Description

The route begins with a shared start with DR40 runners and tours paths in Swaledale. It includes a short road section onto Harkerside Moor, passes an iron age farmstead, climbs Whitaside Moor, descends through Apedale, rejoins the DR40 course to climb to the Height of Greets, crosses to Grinton Smelt Mill, offers views from Sharrow Hill, and follows grassy descents to Cogden Hall before finishing. The course consists of moorland trods, hard packed tracks, and grassy paths.

Entry Information

Entry is open from November 27, 2025, to September 27, 2026. Participants must be 16 years or older. Entry fees are £24.00 for UKA members and £26.00 for non-members.
