Course and race services
The race starts and finishes at The Dales Bike Centre in Reeth. The route leaves Grinton and follows paths in Swaledale, including a short road section onto Harkerside Moor, past an iron age farmstead, up Whitaside Moor, a descent through Apedale, a climb to the Height of Greets, and crossings near Grinton Smelt Mill and Sharrow Hill before returning to the Dales Bike Centre. The course surface includes moorland trods, hard-packed tracks and grassy paths. Distances are described as rough estimates. A GPX file and map are available. Aid stations are fully stocked and include vegan and gluten-free options. A finishers soup and roll is included in the entry. Hot drinks and cakes are available to purchase from The Dales Bike Centre cafe. Car parking is provided. A finishers neck tube is offered for a small additional fee.
