Charm Bracelet Trail Events : 50 and 104 mile ultras

The event offers two long-distance trail ultra courses that finish in Skinningrove and run along established national trails. The longer course covers roughly 104 miles and follows the Pennine Way, the Teesdale Way, then the King Charles III Coastal Path and the Cleveland Way for the final miles. The shorter course follows the second half of the same route, starting at Croft-on-Tees.

The 104 mile course includes over 6000 ft of elevation; the 50 mile course has about 1709 ft. The CB100 is intended for experienced ultra runners and walkers; unsupported entrants must show prior completion of a 50 mile event. Relay teams may enter with two to four runners and must arrange changeover transport.

Courses are fully tracked and feature multiple checkpoints offering water, snacks and selected hot or cold meals. The CB100 has ten checkpoints; the CB50 offers four checkpoints. Support runners may join from the second checkpoint on the CB100 and from the start on the CB50. Cutoff limits are 40 hours for the 104 mile course and 20 hours for the 50 mile course. First aid is available and the event operates under race permit ARC/25/0036.

Weekend 9 is a waymarked 25 km trail event in the Howgill Fells with about 1500 m of ascent. It offers loaded, runner and walker categories, staffed checkpoints and a downloadable GPX file for navigation.

Trail half marathon and 10K in Whinlatter Forest on 24 May 2026. Routes use firm forest trails with steep climbs, wide views of lakes and mountains, live chip timing, and one leashed dog allowed per runner.

A short up and down fell race in Coniston, Cumbria, featuring a steep ascent and a scree descent over 1.00 miles with 900 feet of climb. The event counts for the BOFRA Championship and includes junior and senior routes.

Take on the Glaramara Fell Race on Sun 24 May 2026 in the Lake District, starting from Glaramara Outdoor Centre at Seatoller. The 8 km course packs 700 m of climb and entry on the day is free with donations to charity.
