PARAS'10 Catterick

PARAS'10 Catterick takes place at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire on 26 September 2026. The event is based on the Parachute Regiment 10 mile march used in P Company selection and reflects that test's distance and carrying requirement over undulating terrain.

Two main race formats are offered:

  • 10 miles multi terrain endurance race
  • 10 miles with a 35 lb bergen (PARAS'10 TAB)

Both the PARAS'10 RUN and PARAS'10 TAB are open to anybody aged 16 or over. Runners may also choose to take part with a dog as part of the event's Canicross option.

Historically, the PARAS'10 was hosted by the Parachute Regiment in Aldershot between 1982 and 1993. The event was revived in 2008 at the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick, and a later edition was held in Colchester in 2012. The original 10 mile military march is conducted as a squad over undulating ground with each candidate carrying a bergen weighing 35 lb plus water and a weapon as part of the selection test.

The event supports the charity SUPPORT OUR PARAS. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
