Malham Charity Relays

The Malham Charity Relays is an annual sports event held in Malham, North Yorkshire. The event is hosted at the Lister Arms and operates as a fundraiser, with all proceeds donated to charity. This event uses a unique format where mixed teams are formed on the day of the race. Participants can simply arrive at the venue, and organizers will assign them into teams for the competition.

The course covers a distance of 1.10 km (0.70 miles) and features a total ascent of 75 meters (240 feet). The race begins at the bridge and starts with a short road section. Following this, the route transitions into a steep climb leading toward the summit of Cawden Hill. After reaching the high point, the course proceeds with a straight descent back down to the finish.

This event is open to participants of all ages. All age categories run together, and its primary focus is on team participation and charitable support. Both senior and junior runners follow the same route. The entry fee is uniform for all participants regardless of age. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
