The Floors Castle Trail Race is held on the Floors Castle estate near Kelso, close to the Scottish border. The Race Village is located on the main lawn directly in front of the castle. The route passes through estate gardens and ancient woodlands and offers panoramic views across the grounds.

The event offers three distance options with specified age ranges:

  • 10km two laps around the grounds on an undulating but fast spectator friendly course, age 17+
  • 5km one lap on hard packed gravel trails through the castle gardens, age 15+
  • Junior 3km a shorter course for ages 9 to 14 with a focused finish line atmosphere

Included event services listed by the organiser comprise chip timing, entry to the Floors Castle estate, free car parking, a finisher's medal if requested at entry, post‑race refreshments and comprehensive race medical cover. The organiser is TriWorks, the same team behind the East Fortune Duathlon.

Floors Castle is private property and is open to the public between May and September; attendees are asked not to enter the grounds outside official opening times or without a valid ticket. A 100 km point to point trail from Melrose to Holy Island following the waymarked Saint Cuthbert's Way. The route crosses the Scottish Borders and Northumberland National Park, is marshalled with GPS tracking and has a 19.5 hour cut off.

A 10 km race on 12 July 2026 held within the grounds of Floors Castle in Kelso. The course mixes road and trail with uneven sections, offers water at 5 km and finish, and awards a medal and goodie bag to all finishers.

A seven mile trail through Ingram Valley that visits ancient hillforts and offers views of the Cheviot Hills. The course is fully marked and registration and race numbers are handled at Ingram Village Hall; dogs are not permitted.

A country show hill race in Powburn featuring a marked six mile course that climbs East Hill and returns via Ingram, with a separate two mile junior race for under 14s.
