A 37 mile ultramarathon on 1 August 2026 from Allendale through Ninebanks, Alston and Nenthead and back, set in the North Pennines AONB. Solo and three person relay options, marshals, checkpoints, GPX route files and an event tracker.

Borrowdale Fell Race on 1 Aug 2026 is a Lake District fell race of 27 km with about 2000 m ascent based at Rosthwaite village. Pre-entry is required, the fee is £16, teams of three are allowed and minimum age is 18.

A 10 km trail race through Gisburn Forest near Slaidburn Lancashire on Saturday 1 August 2026. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and includes chip timing, a race medal, professional photography and on site refreshments.
