Trail Running calendar near Wirral 2026-2027

A single-lap, chip-timed trail race of about 7 miles through Adel Woods, Scotland Woods and Meanwood Park near Leeds. Organised by Valley Striders AC with prize categories for overall and masters age groups and limited entries.

A 10 mile trail race through Radnor forest in Mid Wales on 23 August 2026, held in aid of the Special Care Baby Unit in Hereford. The route reaches Black Mixen at 2130 ft and includes forestry roads, moorland and tree covered single track.

The Trunce Race Series will take place in Oxspring on Monday 24 August 2026. You can run 6 kilometers.

Golf Ball Fell Race is organised by Rossendale Harriers on 26 August 2026. Entry is on the day and runners should carry the recommended FRA kit, which may be checked depending on conditions.

The Holcombe Two Towers will take place in Ramsbottom on Wednesday 26 August 2026. You can run between 4 and 7 kilometers.

A pop up evening running event in Kirkstall, Leeds offering 5k and 10k routes along canal-side paths. Entry is available on the night or online and runners receive a jumble medal plus food and drink options.

A non stop 130 mile canal towpath race from Liverpool to Leeds run under UK Athletics rules. Open to runners aged 20 and over, the event has a 40 hour limit and a limited number of unsupported entries with regular feed points.

The Pendleton Fell Race will take place in Pendleton on Saturday 29 August 2026. You can run 8 kilometers.

A multi distance trail race from Skipton that follows parts of the Pennine Way and the Dales Way, offering 13, 20, 34 and 50 miles with checkpoint support, mandatory kit requirements and tracker provision for longer distances.

Hebden Sports is a classic BOFRA fell race on August Bank Holiday Monday. Juniors and seniors tackle a steep, technical course starting from the show field. The event includes several age group races and takes place in the Yorkshire Dales.

The Dark Side of the Combe will take place in Silecroft on Monday 31 August 2026. You can run 13 kilometers.

A 10 km fell race around Sir William Hill and Abney Moor on 1 September 2026, starting and finishing in Eyam. The event includes prizes from the Barrel Inn, a post-race barbecue and a 3 km on-day junior race for ages 11 to 16.

The Muker Show Fell Race takes place on 2nd September 2026, featuring a 1.4-mile route with 550 feet of climb over river, edge, and fields. It's a BOFRA Senior Championship counter for runners in Under 12 to Senior age categories.

An evening fell race on 3 September 2026 covering 8 km with 360 m ascent across Brown Wardle, Middle Hill and Hades Hill. Mandatory FRA kit applies and runners must reach the top of Brown Wardle within 24 minutes.

A trail 5 km race around Clowbridge Reservoir in Burnley with two anti clockwise laps, open to runners aged 11 and over. It is the first of a three week autumn series on 3, 10 and 17 September 2026.
