Race You To The Summit

Race You To The Summit is an established fell race held from the Summit Inn in Littleborough, OL15 9QX. The course is approximately 4.3 miles long with over 800 ft of ascent. Runners start at the Summit Inn, run up toward the White House pub near Blackstone Edge, touch the pub wall, and return to the Summit.

The event is organised by CraggRunner and has been held for 59 years. It is run under Fell Runners Association rules and is classified as a fell race rather than a trail race. The programme includes junior races for Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15 categories, and an Under 17 race which runs with the senior field.

Entry fees for adults are listed as £8 for pre-entry and £10 on the day, while Under 17s enter free. The race takes place on Halloween in 2026. Halloween costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for the best costume. Results and historical records for senior and junior races are maintained for previous years.
